A lazy weekend and slow growth
Hi, friends!
I hope you all are well. I've finally finished reading Nothing Much Happens by Kathryn Nicolai. It's an excellent book; the stories in the book calm your senses and help you relax after a hectic day. And I've had jam-packed days and weeks.
We had the IIMA Alumni Endowment Fund lunch this afternoon. That was amazing for a couple of reasons - 1) It saved me the cost of today's lunch, 2) They served butter chicken and rice, two of the best food items ever invented by humans. Besides, you'd know that's like finding treasure, considering I'm in Gujarat.
On my way to the coffee shop, I ran into an alumnus (whose name I did not bother asking but seemed very friendly). He narrated how he had an embarrassing moment while showing his son his old dorm. It turns out that they converted Dorm 7 into a Girls' dorm and he did not know about it. As of today, they turned it back to Boys' dorm. You see, these are the sort of things that make the IIMA experience worth it despite its flaws.
Other than that, life is quite good. That is, if you don't count the surprise quizzes or the occasional downs of life. Frankly, I'm pretty indifferent to surprise quizzes by this point. I hope you have a great week.
