Happy December - A Life Update
Hey, friends!
It's been three weeks since the last issue of The Windmill, and that says two things - 1) I could not keep up my promise of writing every week, 2) I've been busy with academia or just lazy.
This morning, I listened to Shivers by Ed Sheeran just before my SCEB (The Social and Cultural Environment of Business) class but had to leave it midway because I had to attend the course. The professor, however, had some glitches on his end and asked the class to suggest songs he could play before diving into the class topics. Of course, I suggested Shivers and finished my quota of the song. Honestly, that might be my most significant life achievement.
Quite a lot of events happened in the last three weeks, so I would not make the futile attempt to recall them all. However, I think a few need special mention: friends' birthdays, a lot of cute group photos, and hectic professional life.
My friends' birthdays were two days apart, and the celebration was fantastic, as I expected. It's just humbling to see grown-ups (those with experience) happy on their birthday. Birthday celebrations are fun because I get to meet new people and catch up with my friends. Those few hours away from the routine life is what keep me going. I did not know how much I liked spending time with other people.
I am going out for dinner with my friends this evening, and I am really excited about it. It's not just about the food but the conversation that flows freely. Honestly, I would give up a few work hours if that meant spending more time with my friends.
Life is good currently. There are no major hiccups, and even when there are bumps on the road, I have a great support system to help me get by. So, yeah, it's great. I hope you are doing good, too. That's about it. I'll talk to you in the next issue.
Happy December! ✨✨
